| Intermatic® is the name we all trust for automatic operation of inground & aboveground pool filter & pump systems. With the Intermatic® Time Clock, you can set your pool to turn on & off as often as you need. Now you can operate the pool partially during the day when your pool needs filtration & chemical treatment then power it down & take advantage of "off-peak" electrical hours in the middle night when electrical rates tend to be lower.
Par Pool & Spa recommends about 8 - 12 hours of filter operation daily during the swimming season to maintain good water quality. By using a timer & several set of trippers, you can automatically take advantage of "off-peak" times and still get the filtration & circulation that your pool needs to prevent algae & cloudy water. Read our blog here.
Now you can go away for a few days without having to worry about who's going to take care of the pool.
Intermatic® Time Clocks can be set for up to 12 ON / OFF cycles. Just move the easily adjustable On or Off trippers (each clock comes with one set, additional sets are available).
Intermatic® Time Clocks are available for 110 volt or 220 volt set up. Each time clock will operate one electrical device. The Digital PE153 (lower picture) can be used to operate up to 3 circuits or devices. Use them for pumps, automatic pool cleaners with booster pumps, pool heaters (choose the time clock with the heater control, called a fireman switch - turns the heater off about 20 minutes before the filter, providing longer heater life due to dry fire & greater chance of scale formation), underwater lights, patio lighting & more.
Intermatic® Time Clocks can be mounted indoors (indoor only - metal case as shown in the upper picture) or outdoors with the plastic, weather resistant case (NEMA 3R rated middle & lower pictures).
