To Convert Your Pool from Chlorine or Bromine to Soft Swim®:
Be sure filter has been operating a minimum of 12 hours continuously & will be in continuous operation during the conversion period
Make sure your Chlorine or Bromine level is 1.0 ppm or lower
Neutralize left over Chlorine or Bromine using 1 (one) bottle of Soft Swim® C per 10,000 gallons.
If Chlorine or Bromine is over 1.0 ppm, add Chem Out® Chlorine Neutralizer
Retest Chlorine or Bromine. Level should be 0.0 ppm before continuing
If heavy metals are present (iron, copper or manganese) add 1 bottle of Soft Swim® Stain & Scale Control to neutralize metals
Add 1 Bottle of Soft Swim® C Clarifier
per 10,000 gallons of water (or any part of 10,000 gallons) to oxidize any unfilterables & to set a reserve of "C" in the water
Add 8 oz. Soft Swim® A Algicide per 8,000 gallons
Allow filter system to run overnight
Next day, add 1 bottle of Soft Swim® B Bactericide per 10,000 gallons of water
Adjust pH, Total Alkalinity & Calcium Hardness to proper levels
After 1 week of operation, chemically clean filter with Soft Swim® Filter Cleaner
Before, during and after the conversion process, bring in a one quart sample of the pool water for a complete BioGuard® Testing and Analysis.

Optimizer Plus® to create a level of 50 ppm to 80 ppm. Using Optimizer Plus® will significantly reduce your Soft Swim B and C consumption.

Not more than 25,000 gallons
Excellent circulation, sand filter preferable
Pump operates at least 12 hours per day
