Opening a Chlorine or Bromine Treated Pool - Chemical Dosages

• UP TO 10,000 GALLONS
  2 - 3 bags Burn Out WP, diluted in a bucket of water or 3 - 4 bags Burn Out 35 broadcast
  1/2 quart Back Up Algaecide Plus Top off Optimizer Plus (about 5 lb)
   

• 10,000 TO 20,000 GALLONS
  3 - 4 bags Burn Out WP, diluted in a bucket of water or 5 - 6 bags Burn Out 35 broadcast
  1 quart Back Up Algaecide Plus Top off Optimizer Plus (about 9 lb)
   

• 20,000 TO 30,000 GALLONS
  5 - 6 bags Burn Out WP, diluted in a bucket of water or 6 - 8 bags Burn Out 35 broadcast
  1 & 1/2 quarts Back Up Algaecide Plus Top off Optimizer Plus (about 15 lb)
   

• OVER 30,000 GALLONS
  8 - 10 bags Burn Out WP, diluted in a bucket of water or 12 - 14 bags Burn Out 35 broadcast
  2 quarts Back Up Algaecide Plus Top off Optimizer Plus (about 20 lb)
  
  All Dosages are based on a Normal, Clean Opening. Make Chemical
  Adjustments as Needed. Don't Skimp!
  
  ALL POOLS:
  
  [  ] Remove All Leaves & Debris from Cover before Removing Cover
  [  ] Bring Water Level up to Normal operating level
  [  ] Vacuum pool of all dirt & debris
  [  ] Clean Liner with Off the Wall or Surface Cleaner
  [  ] Clean Filter with Kleen It or Strip Kwik Filter Cleaner
  [  ] Clean ladder treads and Winter Cover with Stow Away Cover Cleaner
  [  ] Allow opening chemicals to circulate for 24 - 36 hours
  [  ] Let water Filter 1 day before bringing in Opening water sample for Testing & Analysis
  [  ] Adjust pH, Total Alkalinity & Calcium Hardness as needed
  
  
  NEVER DRAIN your pool.  The liner will shrink, voiding the warranty and could cause damage to your pool.  In gunite, plaster, or even fiberglass pools removal of the water from the pool could result in the pool structure "floating" and causing serious damage to the structure.
