Every 2 weeks:

  • Test and adjust pH (7.2 to 7.6), Total Alkalinity (30 to 90 ppm), and Calcium Hardness (175 to 275 ppm) as necessary.
  • Test Pristine Blue level.  Top as needed according to the chart below.
  • Shock with 1 (one) pound Pristine Power per 10,000 gallons of pool water to oxidize unfilterable swimmer waste such as suntan lotions, greases & oils. This considers light to moderate bather loads.  Heavy loads or parties should consider shocking weekly.
  • Add 2 oz. of Pristine Clean per 10,000 gallons of water.
  • Add 2 oz. of Pristine Clear per 10,000 gallons of water.

                                            Ounces of PristineBlue® to add

Every 3 to 4 weeks or monthly: Add 1 to 2 lbs. Pristine Extra per 10,000 gallons to thoroughly shock the pool

2 Additives to consider to make Pristine Blue even better:
Aqua Finesse Pool Water Care Tablets 1. AquaFinesse Pool Water Care Pucks - remove & prevent Bio-film in filter system pipe lines.
2. Naturally Pure - enzymes "eat up" human & environmental greases & oils adding to bio-film plus removes phosphate which feed algae

Important Note:  DO NOT ADD PRISTINE BLUE MORE OFTEN THAN ONCE EVERY 2 WEEKS.  Be sure to measure accurately with the measuring cup that came with your Pristine Blue start up kit.  Overdosing with Pristine Blue may cause cloudiness or staining of pool surfaces.
