1. Fill spa or hot tub with water.  Add 1.0 oz. SpaGuard® Stain & Scale Control
   per 300 gallons of spa water.

2. Allow to heat up to desired temperature, no more than 104°F.

3. Once filled, start your equipment following the manufacturer's instructions.

4. Add 1.0 oz. SpaGuard® Water Clarifier per 300 gallons.  Circulate for about
   5 minutes.

5. Using a BioGuard®/SpaGuard® 4 way Test Strip, test for Total Alkalinity,
   Calcium Hardness & pH.

6. Balance the Total Alkalinity, Calcium Hardness (if using SpaGuard Spa Sentry,
   DO NOT adjust Calcium Hardness) & pH of the spa water.**

7. Apply SpaGuard® Enhanced Shock according to label instructions.  Establish a
   proper chlorine residual of 1.0 ppm chlorine.

8. Add 1.0 oz. SpaGuard® Natural Spa Enzyme per 100 gallons of spa water.

9. Insert Nature2® or Spa Frog® Cartridge properly into filter cartridge.

Weekly:

• Test pH.  Ideal is 7.4 to 7.6.  Acceptable is 7.2 to 7.6.

• Add SpaGuard® Natural Spa Enzyme and Stain & Scale Control following the
  label instructions.

• Shock your spa or hot tub with SpaGuard® Enhanced Shock

Monthly:

• Top off SpaGuard® Spa Sentry as per label instructions.

• Clean filter cartridge with SpaGuard® Filter Cleaner to remove excess greases & oils.

Every 3 to 4 Months:

• Drain, clean, polish and refill spa or hot tub based on usage.

** Special Note:
If using SpaGuard® Spa Sentry, DO NOT balance the Calcium Hardness.  Spa Sentry will take care of this. 
Also, DO NOT turn on the spa or hot tub's heater until the water has cleared through filtration or add
Spa Sentry AFTER the water has reached its normal operating temperature.
