Installation & Filling
Where & What can I safely set up my Fast-Set Pool?
Your Fast-Set Pool MUST be set up on FLAT, level, and stable
ground.. Stable Ground refers to: grass, compacted earth, concrete, or pavement.
Using a ground cloth, is ALWAYS recommended and is REQUIRED if your pool is
going to be set on a concrete slab or asphalt. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should the
pool be set-up on WOODEN DECKS or ANY other wood surfaces, or on a surface that
is muddy or subject to shifting. DO NOT USE SAND when installing, IT WILL SHIFT.
Do not attempt to 'jack up' the pool on any type of frame, support, or riser(s),
as this will cause the pool to collapse! If installed properly, according
to the instructions, your
Fast-Set pool is self-leveling.
Do I have to worry about grass growing through my Pool?
Normally no, however In the case of aggressive grass varieties
(i.e. Bermuda, Nut, or St. Augustine) can penetrate vinyl pool liners. In that
instance, it is strongly recommended that you choose an installation areas that
is known to be free of such nuisance vegetation BEFORE setting up your pool.
Neither Par Pool & Spa nor the manufacturer will be held responsible for grasses
that grow through the pool (damage is not covered under the warranty). The use
of a ground cloth can provide additional protection against some types of weeds
and grass. Remember, it is not possible to prevent damage to the lawn
due to the enormous weight of the filled pool.
How full
do I need to inflate the top ring of my Fast Set Pool?
The top ring of the Fast Set Pool is full when it is about 85% inflated.
The inflated should be firm to the touch but not overfilled as overfilling may
lead to ruptures or seam leaks that are not covered under the warranty.
How full
do I fill my Fast Set Pool with water?
Your Fast Set Pool is full when the water reaches the bottom edge of the top
air ring ONLY. DO NOT OVERFILL. At that point about 80% of the
pool's volume will be reached. Overfilling can lead to instability &
potential personal injury.

Care & Maintenance
Do I need to add
chemicals to my Pool?
In a nutshell, YES.
Starting & maintaining a
good, normal pool chemical program is essential for you & your family's health &
well-being (protection from bacteria), but also for the protection of the Pool
itself. Unbalanced water will damage the vinyl surface over time thereby
shortening the life of your Simple Set Pool. For those reasons, Par Pool &
Spa has included a BioGuard
Pool Start Up Kit with your purchase from us.
How often do I need to
check or maintain my Fast Set Pool?
Ideally these are our recommendations: Test the water at least 3
times per week (chlorine, pH & total alkalinity). Add chlorine
daily. Clean the Filter once every 7 to 14 days. Vacuum
the pool as needed depending on usage & amount of "stuff" brought into the
pool. Change the Filter Cartridge monthly. Change the water
in the Pool only as needed, usually the initial fill, followed by good, everyday
filtration, and a good Chemical program, will ensure a full season (3 to 4
months) of quality, sanitary water.
How many hours a day do I
need to run the filter?
As with any pool, the longer the filter run, the better. Eight to 12 hours
should be a minimum. After more than 30 years of helping consumers take
care of their pools, we continue to find that those customers running the
filters the most number of hours have the least problems.

Set Pool with the filter running?
According to the manufacturer, you should NEVER swim in your Fast Set Pool (or
any other similar type, i.e. Intex Pool, Simple Set from AquaLeisure, BestWay, etc.) with the filter running
as it presents a safety hazard and potential electrical shock risk.
As a safety precaution, always unplug and safely stow the filter
pump cord whenever the pool is in use or when any potentially hazardous yard
work (such as lawn mowing, hedge trimming, etc) is being performed near the
pool.
Is it safe
to Jump, Dive off of or otherwise sit or lay on the Pool's top ring?
NO. The pool was NOT designed for such activity. Personal death or
injury could occur by taking part in such activities. Such activity can
interfere with the pool's stability and must not be done. ALWAYS use the
ladder to climb into or out of the Pool. CHILDREN MUST NEVER BE LEFT TO
USE THE POOL UNSUPERVISED.

use our Fast Set Pool?
NO. Your pet may certainly enjoy the pool, however, their sharp claws,
nails or teeth will cause damage to the vinyl liner. Help keep everyone
safe by keeping your pet away from the pool & filter.
Do I need
a fence around my pool or a pool alarm?
Check with your local zoning or building official for their exact local
ordinances. Many customers like
pool alarms to alert them to
unauthorized use of the pool.
