4 Simple Steps to get off to a great swimming season! A good clean opening will give an easier, more enjoyable swimming season.

Step 1:  Get that cover cleaned off.  Make removing the cover easier.  Just attach this great submersible pump to a garden hose, plug it in & drain that cover!  Pumps up to 350 gals. Per hour.  Once drained, any debris easily comes off.  Don't spill all that winter "stuff" into the pool!  ONLINE SPECIAL ONLY $52.99 (if purchased in store: $59.99)  Click on the picture for more details!

Step 2:  Refill pool to normal swimming level.  While the pool is filling, begin treating the water by adding BioGuard® Back Up® or Algae All 60® algicide.  If your pool is being filled with well water, add BioGuard® Pool Magnet® to prevent staining from Iron, Copper and Manganese.  Use BioGuard® Scale Inhibitor® for hard water situations. SoftSwim® or Baquacil® treated pools should use SoftSwim® A algicide & SoftSwim® Stain Control.   For Pre-season Specials, just click on the Product!

Step 3:  Perform Regular Spring Cleaning.  While the pool is filling, vacuum leaves, dirt & debris from pool surfaces. Click here to learn how to vacuum your pool.  Clean the water line with BioGuard® Off the Wall® tile & vinyl cleaner.  As it cleans, it will leave a sheen to make future cleaning easier.  Next clean the Winter Cover with Stow Away®. This cleaner & deodorizer will help prevent your cover from getting "icky" while it's stored away.  After the pool has cleaned up, clean the filter with Strip Kwik® or Kleen It® or SoftSwim® Filter Cleaner (SoftSwim® or Baquacil® pools only) for longer filter runs during the season.  For Pre-season Specials, just click on the Product!

NEVER DRAIN your pool.  The liner will shrink, voiding the warranty and could cause damage to your pool.  In gunite, plaster, or even fiberglass pools removal of the water from the pool could result in the pool structure "floating" and causing serious damage to the structure.
