Pristine Blue® Algicide / Bacteria Suppressant for Pools, Spas & Hot tubs.

The active ingredient in PristineBlue® is copper ions. These copper ions are bonded with a unique chemical carrier which allows PristineBlue® to add just the right amount of copper in the water to control both bacteria and algae. PristineBlue® is environmentally friendly, EPA registered and even certified for addition to drinking water by NSF International (certification 60, that's extraordinary for a SPA chemical)!

After your initial dose of PristineBlue®, simply measure the level of PristineBlue® Bacteria Suppressant every two weeks. When needed “top it off” with more PristineBlue®. PristineBlue®’s active ingredient stays in your pool water constantly to prevent the growth of algae and bacteria. No chlorine or bromine!

Initial dose: 24 milliliters per 500 gallons (be sure to use the measuring cup for an accurate measure)

Maintenance dose: varies according to the number of bathers and other factors that introduce bacteria into the spa or hot tub. Measure and top off every two weeks as needed.

Cold Weather Caution!: In cold climates, store your PristineBlue Bacteria Suppressant in a warm (over 50° F) place to avoid freezing. Freezing will cause the active ingredients to separate and render the product ineffective. Other Pristine Blue products are OK in cold temperatures.
