Pristine Check® aids in removing excess calcium from the water and deposits it into your pool's filter. It’s essential to backwash or clean (preferred way, use SpaGuard® Filter Cleaner) the cartridge filter after the use of PristineCheck®. Pristine Check® is applied in spas & hot tubs when starting PristineBlue® for the first time and when changing the water. If your source or tap water is high in calcium, it is recommended that you add a proper dose of PristineCheck® whenever a significant amount of fresh water is added to the spa or tub.
