The great thing about SoftSwim® & Biguanide Pools is that you close your pool in a similar way to opening & regular maintenance!

 It's Easy…

  1. Top up your Sanitizer "B" to 50 ppm

  2. Add 1 bottle of Clarifying Shock "C" for every 10,000 gallons

  3. Add 1 bottle of Winter Algicide 40 for every  15,000 gallons

  4. Follow  our checklist  as you close the pool

IMPORTANT WINTERIZING TIP:
ALL Chemical Winter Kits are made to properly WORK for a maximum of about 4 months. If the pool is going to be closed for a longer period of time (example closing before October 1 and opening after May 1), it is absolutely necessary to add additional shock and algaecide to the winterizing process. This will help to prevent not only algae growth but "C" demand problems at pool opening.
